The city of Iași has an important cultural heritage, preserved and cultivated by a multitude of institutions with national and European cultural resonance. One of the emblematic monuments of the city is the Palace of the "King Ferdinand I" Foundation, the headquarters of the "Mihai Eminescu" Central University Library, a historical monument construction registered in the List of Historical Monuments, with the code IS-II-m-B-03964.
